Can I get a license for standby/ development/ testing?

Problem

I would like to have an additional plugin license to use on my development/ QA/ testing/ staging server. Can I get one without having to purchase another license?

Solution

The usual way most of our customers deal with this requirement for licenses is by making use of the development license feature that Atlassian provides – this is also available for our plugin. For more details please follow the link below:

You can create a developer license for our plugin as well, in the same way, you generate the Atlassian developer licenses (via my.atlassian.com)

• Login to https://my.atlassian.com/

• Select our plugin license

• Under "Actions" select "View Developer License"

Note: The View Developer License action is only available once you purchased the license, not during evaluation. When using a development license in our plugin, the Atlassian product needs to run with a development license as well. You cannot mix production & development licenses on the same system otherwise this results in a license incompatibility error.
